One of the key elements which makes BIMM’s teaching so successful is the way that we prepare all our students for life in the music industry when they graduate.
And when they do leave us, we don’t just keep in touch with our alumni: we try and keep them involved in BIMM life as much as possible once they pass through our doors for the final time.
So when BIMM decided to take the exciting step of expanding into continental Europe by opening a new college in Berlin, we needed some talented, multi-lingual BIMM representatives to tell the world exactly what makes BIMM so great — and we realised that we had the perfect former students for the job!
Who better to represent BIMM in Europe than successful ex-students? BIMM Bristol graduate Andrea Succi is one of them, and as guitarist and vocalist in the band Phoenix Club, he has recorded at some of the most famous studios in the world and gigged around Europe.
Andrea has lots of real-world experience, and he’s now BIMM’s International Representative. He is almost certain to be able to answer your question about life at BIMM — regardless of what language you ask him in!
Andrea is truly multi-lingual, speaking five languages, and will help BIMM reach out to international students, explaining everything about BIMM life. He’ll be out on the road, holding presentations and answering questions all over Europe.
Another BIMM band, The Dubarrys, are kindly allowing us to “borrow” their Belgian bandmate Alex, who is also multi-lingual and will be offering BIMM lots of support by talking to potential students.
The band themselves will be out on the road too, flying the flag for BIMM, and you can catch them playing a set for us in Paris in a few weeks time.
