Every year, we hand-pick a selection of industry giants to come and give masterclasses at BIMM. Hugely popular with our students, these sessions involve Q&A, live performances and workshops. Talent Match
An exclusive recruitment service for BIMM students and graduates
Talent Match is BIMM’s free job matching service, exclusive to students and graduates at BIMM’s five UK music colleges. With 800+ employers registered with the service, Talent Match is able to offer over 250 opportunities per year in paid, professional roles. Each student who signs up receives a 1-1 careers advice session with an experienced recruitment professional. Talent Match provides access to roles covering the full creative spectrum: from artist management to journalism, from PR to sync, and from music teaching to sound engineering. We’re serious about employability, which is why we offer this service for up to 18 months from graduation.

WRKiT
BIMM’s creative industries careers fair
WRKiT is BIMM’s annual careers event that puts students in front of top music industry recruiters. These industry-leading events are held in both Manchester and London, bringing together industry brands, record labels, publishers, media, management and more. It’s a fantastic opportunity for graduates to supercharge their future and make the right contacts. Companies that attended the 2022 WRKiT events included Spotify, Sony Music, The Great Escape Festival, CAA, Manchester International Festival, Communion, Hospital Records, DIY Magazine, Atlantic Records, Warner Music and publishers included Kobalt, Sentric and Sony Music Publishing.
Greenhouse Enterprise Programme
Training and funding for underrepresented groups
First launched in June 2021, the Greenhouse Enterprise Programme provides training, coaching, and funding for entrepreneurial projects designed by students from underrepresented groups. These include Black, Asian and ethnic minority communities, students from lower-income backgrounds and areas of low participation in higher education, students with disabilities, care-leavers and mature students. It’s the perfect partnership between our Access and Participation Plan and our unrivalled Employability and Careers Programme.
BIMM Connect
Our online community for students, alumni and staff
BIMM Connect is a dedicated online community platform for students, graduates, and staff at all BIMM colleges – including our partner colleges for film and the performing arts, making it the perfect space to connect with other creatives.
