Masterclasses

Every year, we hand-pick a selection of industry giants to come and give masterclasses at BIMM. Hugely popular with our students, these sessions involve Q&A, live performances and workshops. Truly inspirational, our masterclasses give you the chance to meet those who live and breathe the creative industries.

Work experience

Providing real-world, hands-on experiences is at the heart of the BIMM experience. Our longstanding partnerships within the industry both inform what we offer and facilitate countless opportunities every year. Our students run record labels, manage live events, produce TV shows and put business plans into action.

Learn about placements

Creative Futures Team

There’s a dedicated team at each BIMM college. These teams offer tailored support on everything from CV clinics, to assisting you with work placements, to offering personal, 1-1 advice on your next career steps. Over the last academic year, the Creative Futures team provided: 

  • 2830 – Careers 1-1s with Careers Advisors and Industry Mentors
  • 6764 – Creative Opportunities working on industry projects and productions.
  • 576 – Work Placements, building skills, knowledge and networks.
  • 414 Jobs – Paid employment, working directly in the Creative Industries
  • 296 Industry Representation – Directly connecting graduates to performing arts agents, music managers and labels.
