BIMM is back at The Great Escape for 2017 and proud to announce the line-up for our official showcase at The Hope and Ruin, Brighton on 18th May between 12-4 pm.

Five artists have been chosen from across the BIMM Group – covering a wide variety of music genres – and will perform to fans and music industry professionals. The BIMM bands/artists announced to play for 2017 are:

London: Rahh at 12:15

Manchester: Crimsons at 13:00

Dublin: Maria Kelly at 13:45

Bristol: Gardna at 14:30

Brighton: Wild Front  at 15:15

During The Great Escape, there will be 400 emerging artists from all over the world, descending on Brighton, to play amongst over 35 venues in the city. Plus, over 3,000 delegates from over 30 countries will attend insightful panels, debates and networking sessions as part of The Great Escape Trade Convention – which runs alongside the festival – and it is the biggest of its kind in the UK.

The Great Escape is Europe’s leading new music festival and attracts over 20,000 music fans and industry delegates. This international festival is recognised as one of the most important events in the musical calendar and is referred to as Europe’s equivalent to South by South West Music Festival in America. TGE offers an opportunity for musicians to gain the attention of fans, media and industry representatives.

There will also be the Alternative Escape All Dayer taking place on Saturday 20 May @ the Hub (TBC) featuring BIMM artists.

The Great Escape 2017 runs from Thursday 18 – Saturday 20 May – we can’t wait! Here are our highlights from 2016:
