Crystal Fighters have announced their biggest ever headline show – on Saturday, 28 October 2017. The band will headline at London’s Alexandra Palace and will be donating all the profits to charity including a new bursary for BIMM drumming students studying at BIMM Brighton, Bristol and London.

A portion of the proceeds from the gig will be put into Andrea Marongiu’s The Eternal Beat Foundation, established in memory of Crystal Fighters’ former multi-disciplinary drummer, Andrea Marongiu who sadly died in 2014 of a heart condition. Set up by Andrea’s wife Louise, the bursary has already committed £9,000 to help three 2017/18 entrants at BIMM Brighton, Bristol, and London achieve their dream of a career in music.

Crystal Fighters recently paid a visit to BIMM London and tweeted that meeting the students had been ‘beyond inspirational’ and how they’re looking forward to supporting The Eternal Beat Foundation.

Speaking about the forthcoming Alexandra Palace show, they said:

“We’re ecstatic to be donating profits to The Eternal Beat Foundation. We visited BIMM and caught the high-level vibe of the students and facilities, and are honoured to help send more students there to improve their drumming, on behalf of the foundation! We can’t wait for our next visit!”

Tickets go on general sale on Friday 31 March.
