Femi Temowo

Femi teaches Guitar at BIMM Institute London. He began playing the guitar aged 17 and very quickly entered the professional ranks so by age 21 he was already highly-regarded on the jazz and popular music scenes. He studied jazz at Middlesex University and after graduating was approached by UK jazz/hip-hop artist Soweto Kinch to play in his award-winning quartet.
Femi’s slick and melodic guitar sound has earned him a place beside many great artists, and he’s played with the likes of George Benson, Courtney Pine, The Roots, Omar, Roachford, Amy Winehouse and many more. Both his debut album ‘Quiet Storm’ and his follow-up recording ‘Orin Meta’ were met with praise from peers and industry experts alike.
