Track of the Week comes all the way from BIMM Berlin, it’s the fantastic- ‘Scared’ by Eveline.
Scared was released on 27th January. Enjoy!
What was the inspiration behind your track?
’SCARED’ processes young peoples incapability of making decisions. What’s right? What’s wrong? Social constraints and the obsessive behavior of “going against the flow“ leads to uncertainty and fear.
Expressing this pathlessness in a track was the inspiration and idea behind “SCARED“.
What did your songwriting process involve?
Have A Vision.
Delve Into The Mood.
Combine With Vocal Melody And Chords.
What things do you do differently to other bands?
Combining the electronic sounds and spheres with a powerful, soulful voice is a concept that we weren’t aware of before.
Can you describe your sound in three words?
Indie. Electronic. Pop.
Have you channeled any artist in particular on this track?
We haven’t channeled a specific artist on this track. But our sounds are influenced by Berlin’s nightlife.
What’s the best thing about studying at BIMM?
Meeting other fantastic musicians and working together with them.
What’s the best bit of music advice you’ve been given?
“You were always pretending to be busy, but much to soon your projects died.” (If Love Has Grown (Into A Stranger) by Archie Daggers & Tender Slider)
essentially never stop focusing on what you really want to do even though circumstances try to distract you to another direction.
What’s next for you?
Our priority is finding a booking agency to work with and to go on our own tour this year.
