At BIMM Music Institute, we’re passionate about helping students thrive in the creative industries, and strong English is key to that journey.
That’s why we’ve partnered with Oxford International Digital Institute (OIDI) to offer an online Pre-sessional English Programme for international students.
What is Pre-sessional English?
Pre-sessional courses are for international students who hold an offer to study a degree at BIMM Music Institute and need to meet their English language requirement. They build your academic and language skills and prepare you to succeed on your course.
If you pass your Pre-sessional course at the required level, you can progress onto your degree at BIMM Music Institute.
What makes this programme unique?
Our Pre-sessional English Programme is delivered online by Oxford International Digital Institute, exclusively in partnership with BIMM. You can study from anywhere, with live classes taught by experienced English language teachers, so you arrive ready for degree-level study.
STUDY FROM ANYWHERE
Fully online, with live classes on Zoom or Teams. No need to travel before your course starts.
SMALL CLASSES
Groups of around 10 to 12 students, with 1:1 tutorials where you need them.
OPTIONS TO SUIT YOUR NEEDS
Choose a 6, 12 or 16-week course, depending on your current level of English.
ENGLISH TO THE NEXT LEVEL
Improve your English by 0.5 to 1.5 IELTS bands to meet your entry requirements.
BUILT FOR ACADEMIC STUDY
Develop your writing, reading, speaking, listening and digital skills for university study.
PROGRESS TO YOUR DEGREE
Pass the course at the required level and progress onto your degree at BIMM Music Institute.
