BIMM London Graduation Showcase returns to HERE at Outernet
BIMM London’s Graduation Showcase returned to HERE at Outernet, and we couldn’t be prouder to celebrate the talent and hard work of this year’s graduating students.
Taking place at the 2,000-capacity underground venue – one of London’s most impressive music spaces – the showcase brought together more than 20 BIMM artists. For many of them, the event marked an important moment in their early careers, giving them the chance to perform on a professional stage in front of an audience packed with friends, family, and industry.
Hosted by Swarzy, who returned for another year to lead the evening, the showcase saw each artist perform one song, creating a fast-paced night of quick changeovers that the behind-the-scenes team handled seamlessly.
Speaking to Leah Warner after her performance, we heard first-hand what the showcase meant to the artists involved, from the excitement of performing on such an impressive stage to the importance of sharing the moment with bandmates, friends, and the wider BIMM London community.
“You won’t get many chances like this, at least at this point in my career anyway. I think it’s amazing that BIMM gives this opportunity to us, because obviously we’ve been working really hard, so it’s kind of like a payoff in a way.”
The night captured the scale of what the Graduation Showcase represents: a final chance for students to bring their work to a major London stage, backed by the people who have been part of their journey. With Creative Futures and the wider team working behind the scenes, the event felt like a fitting send-off for this year’s graduating artists.
A huge thank you goes to Creative Futures and everyone involved in bringing the event together.
