BIMM University is committed to international collaboration and has a number of academic partnerships around the world. The internationalisation strategy of the University includes the development of stronger links with overseas institutions that share the same ethos and values as BIMM.
Our progression agreements allow students from other cultures and backgrounds to finish their education at BIMM and graduate with an internationally recognised British degree. We also promote knowledge exchange and industry-led workshops with our partners to improve best practice in both academic and practical skills development.
Global Music Institute (GMI), India

GMI is India’s leading contemporary music institute, specialising in holistic learning to develop well-rounded students across traditional Hindustani music, Western classical music and world music. Founded in 2011 with a mission to bring a distinctive and modern approach to music education in India, the institute has a diverse international faculty and state-of-the-art facilities.
Students who successfully complete the Artist Diploma – Contemporary Music Performance pathway at GMI can apply to the second year of the following BIMM Music Institute courses at any of our campuses:

The International College of Music (ICOM) in Kuala Lumpur is Asia’s Leading College of Contemporary Music. Noroff is Norway’s largest Higher Vocational College, consisting of University College, Higher Vocational College and Online Studies, with campuses in Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Kristiansand. All of the educational programmes at Noroff are accredited by the Norwegian Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (NOKUT). Cork College of Further Education and Training (CCFET), Douglas Street Campus, Ireland
Partnership with Screen and Film School
Cork Education and Training Board (Cork ETB) was formed in 2013 through the integration of the Cork City and County Cork VEC’s and in January 2014, what was FÁS training in Cork came under the remit of Cork ETB. For the first time ever, Further Education and Training (FET) became part of a single, coherent integrated structure. Cork College of FET Douglas Street Campus aims to provide a wide range of Further Education opportunities, working from a strong base of creative, vocational and work oriented courses, with a commitment to excellence in teaching, learning and training, responding to local, national and European needs.
