Dirk Darmstaedter

Dirk Darmstaedter teaches Songwriting at BIMM Music Institute Hamburg. He is an acclaimed singer, songwriter and producer from Hamburg, Germany.

Described by The New York Times as "one of Germany’s underground pop heroes", Dirk fronted the iconic Indie pop band The Jeremy Days from 1988 to 1995.

Since then he co-founded and ran Tapete Records, one of Europe's hottest indie Labels, and now hosts his very own radio show, ‘Sounds Like Dirk’, on Radio Bremen zwei. Dirk also continues to record and release music on his ‘Beg Steal & Borrow’ label.
