Amaziah Davis

Associate Lecturer, Songwriting *

Amaziah is a professional writer, arranger, bassist, trombone, sousaphone, helicon and hose pipe player with numerous bands playing ska, reggae, blues, rock, funk, jazz funk, salsa, classical and Eastern European gypsy music to name a few. He has written and arranged music for film and television.

He studied jazz at Chichester College and went on to gain an Honours degree at the world-renowned Leeds College of Music. He has a wealth of stage experience in bands, musicals and shows.

He has toured internationally with West End shows and The Lost & Found Orchestra (the latest Stomp show). His fist album was self-released in 2004 under the band name MOOSE and the second was released in late 2018.
