London Calling: Inside the Music Industry

Get an exciting insight into the lives of music industry professionals and how our Music Business, Event Management and brand-new Music Marketing, Media and Communication (MMMC) courses could help take you there.

Hosted by Dr Jennifer Otter-Bickerdike, the day will start at 12:00 with a special industry panel including radio presenter Shell Zenner (BBC, Amazing), MMMC lecturer and vinyl record expert Karlyn King and Roisin O’Connor, Music Correspondent for The Independent.

Grab some lunch and mingle with our student ambassadors before finishing off with an in-conversation featuring emerging artists and BIMM alumnus including Cameron Black of The Howlers, Izzy B. Phillips of Black Honey and Jeremy Pritchard of Everything Everything. Chat with the artists after the panel about their experiences and careers as music industry professionals.

You’ll get to meet industry professionals, and current student ambassadors from our BA (Hons) Music Business, BA (Hons) Event Management and BA (Hons) Music Marketing, Media and Communication courses. You will also get information on how you could combine your passions and apply for a Joint Honours course.
