Webinar – I’m With the Brand: Building a Successful Music Identity
*Event postponed due to the Music Industry Black Out on 2nd June.
If you want to know how to identify, create and build on a successful brand in the music industry, join us for our new webinar – I’m with the Brand: Building a Successful Music Identity – on Tuesday 9th June 2020 at 6:00 pm via Zoom*. We’ll also cover how to thrive as a brand in uncertain times.
When the pandemic interrupted our ‘normal’ ways of hosting our exclusive events, it allowed us to explore creative, alternative methods. So, when we wanted to showcase the fast-paced industry of digital marketing within the music industry – as well as flex our industry connections – the solution was simple. We’d adapt and take our events online.
Our new webinar, I’m With the Brand: Building a Successful Music Identity, has all the exclusivity and intimate in-conversations as our popular in-person events, but you don’t have to leave your house to join. It’s taking place on Tuesday 9th June 2020 at 6:00 pm via Zoom.
While the idea of making yourself a brand may seem a bit cringy, it is a basic necessity in the competitive marketplace and a cornerstone of the DIY aesthetic/ethos. A unique and clear point of view can be your unique selling point, whether you are a writer, artist, event producer or creative business executive in the making. This first-come-first-serve virtual event will be hosted by Dr Jennifer Otter-Bickerdike.
In this webinar, we will be discussing:
- Ways to identify what your brand is about
- How to succinctly express this online
- How to use your unique self to connect with fans, followers and tastemakers
- How you can start identifying your own bespoke voice immediately, using tools that you have at your fingertips
- How to thrive during unexpected times
Who can join the event?
This webinar is open to all, whether you’re curious about branding, BIMM Institute, or the industry in general. You don’t have to be enrolled as a student here and your housemates, family or whoever you’re in lockdown with are free to join too.
