Mathilda Homer Gains Cadbury Christmas Ad Placement

This Christmas season has brought an extra special gift for BIMM London Songwriting student Mathilda Homer, after the giant chocolate brand Cadbury selected her to sing the soundtrack to their Christmas advert, 2018.

The advert, which has been aired on primetime television and online this festive season, depicts a series secret Santa’s dropping off chocolate treats to friends, family and co-workers when they’re not looking, all set to Mathilda’s contemporary jazz/folk stylings.

Mathilda – who released her debut LP and appeared in our Up & Coming Female Artists shortlist earlier this year – was selected to feature in the latest video ad’ campaign with an especially recorded cover version of the Beatles’ classic 1963 single ‘Do You Want To Know A Secret’.

The festive news also remind us of recent BIMM London graduate Lisa Oribasi’s Christmas ad’ placement in 2017; yet more proof how BIMM’s performance courses are geared to help students reach professional standards before they have even graduated.
