Mathilda Homer

Now in her second year of the BA (Hons) Degree in Songrwriting at BIMM London, Mathilda Homer is a self-dubbed ‘Contemporary Folk’ artist. Her debut E.P ‘God’s A Girl’ dropped this February and sees her taking her music to new heights with the benefit of lush neo-soul harmonies and tasteful production flourishes.

Bronwyn Leonard

It’s sometimes best for an artist to play their cards close to their chest until the time is right to reveal their music the world. This is exactly why BIMM Bristol graduate Bronwyn Leonard’s current online profile is somewhat modest.

Her raw and soulful vocal tone takes influence from artists like Amy Winehouse and Jolie Holland, and is showcased perfectly in this live video for ‘Our Legacy’. Fun fact: Bronwyn performed with the BBC National Youth Choir for the first night of BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall in 2017.

Erica Cody

A student from BIMM Dublin, Erica recently gave us a glimpse of her songwriting process in our Behind The Track feature for her latest single ‘Good Intentions’. The R’n’B star-in-waiting has been working alongside Grammy nominated multi-platinum producer and recording artist Skrapp (formerly signed to Bystorm/RCA) on her debut EP, which is due for imminent release.

Ameila Ceasar

Amelia studies the BA (Hons) Degree in Songwriting at BIMM Brighton and has been making quite the name for herself on the acoustic scene. She performed on the Croissant Neuf stage at Glastonbury 2017 as well as completing a short tour of Budapest.

Prior to starting her Professional Musicianship degree at BIMM Birmingham, Klow studied at the Birmingham Ormiston Academy, where she discovered  her love for Neo-soul, Jazz & Pop. She’s currently working on original material. But, for now, get a load of this brilliant Childish Gambino cover!

Maddy Storm

Last but by no means least, Maddy has been a firm favourite at BIMM Manchester for quite some time now. Last summer, she was incredibly active on the UK festival circuit, bringing her ethereal sixties-tinged rock to stages at Truck Festival, YNOT and Arctangent to name just a few. Here she is doing her thing at Gorilla, one of Manchester’s best loved venues.
