BIMM London students secure full-time industry roles before graduating

23 June, 2026

Three final-year students have secured full-time paid roles in the music industry before graduating from their course.

Ella Stevenson, Megan Bicknell and Chloe Fernando English are all final-year Events Management and Music Business students at BIMM London. Through industry placements, volunteering, networking and careers support, all three have secured exciting roles with major names across the music and live events sector.

Ella Stevenson has secured a role as General Assistant in the Music Touring Department at CAA, one of the world’s leading talent and entertainment agencies.

After initially expressing interest in applying for a CAA internship, Ella attended an industry session at BIMM London with Amber McKenzie, Senior Assistant in CAA’s Music Touring Department. The session was followed by one-to-one appointments with students, giving Ella the chance to speak directly with Amber about her ambitions and experience.

Ella later applied for the internship and progressed to the final round of interviews, standing out from more than 600 applicants. Following an impressive interview process, she was offered a full-time paid role instead.

Chloé Fernando-English has secured a contract with Festival Republic as Artist and Guest Accreditation Assistant.

The role will see Chloé working across some of the UK’s most recognised festivals, including Reading & Leeds, Latitude, Gunnersbury Park, and Finsbury Park.

Chloé has previously taken part in a range of voluntary roles and industry opportunities, including work at The Podcast Show and BST Hyde Park, which has helped her build valuable experience in live events and festival operations.

After being offered paid work at ILMC, Chloé was invited to trial for the Festival Republic role and successfully secured the position before completing her course.

“I’ve met so many incredible professionals through BIMM, from attending industry masterclasses and one-to-one sessions to volunteering at events like The Great Escape and ILMC. The paid work I’ve secured has come directly from the people I met through those opportunities. It feels surreal to have landed a full-time role before graduating, and I’m excited to keep learning, meeting people and building my experience across the industry.”

Megan Bicknell has also secured a full-time role ahead of graduating, joining WhyNow Music as E-Commerce Assistant.

Megan first joined WhyNow Music through a Merchandise Internship placement last year, before continuing with the company on a part-time basis from December. Her work with the team has now led to a full-time position, which she begins in June.

For Ella, Megan and Chloe, these roles mark an exciting next step as they move from student life into full-time industry careers.

Their success shows just how valuable it can be to build real industry experience while studying at BIMM, whether that’s through placements, volunteering, one-to-one support or meeting people already working in the industry.

Congratulations to Ella, Megan and Chloe on their brilliant achievements. We can’t wait to see their careers progress.
