BIMM Sparks the Stages at Glasto ’25
At the end of June 2025, Glastonbury Festival returned to the legendary Worthy Farm for yet another outstanding year of music and art.
The 210,000-capacity event is one of the world’s most well-known festivals. This year, the lineup featured The 1975, Neil Young, Charli XCX, Olivia Rodrigo, Biffy Clyro, Nile Rogers & Chic, Lola Young, Loyle Carner, and many more.
Our involvement in Glastonbury has stretched back for a number of years, and this year was no different. We had alumni and lecturers scattered all over different stages putting on exciting performances, as well as 16 students helping out behind the scenes at the Pyramid stage.
Alumni performances
- Hannah Morgan delivered dazzling drums for CMAT on the Pyramid Stage
- Clemence Faurere was on keys and backing vocals for Lola Young on Woodsies
- Raquel Martins was on guitar for Loyle Carner.
- Jake Woodward was behind the drum kit for Nova Twins.
- London graduate Glowe lit up The Wishing Well stage.
- Manchester graduate Chloe Slater rocked the Left Field stage alongsidefellow graduates Rosie Rayworth and Justin Mclean.
- Daniel Said was smashing the drums for Myles Smith.
- Bristol graduate Webmoms impressed on the BBC Introducing stage.
- Michael Fagbohun was drumming for Rachel Chinouriri, who’s also managed by Brighton graduate Hope James.
- London lecturers Aaron Forbes and Andrew McKinney were on guitar and bass for AJ Tracey and Pulp, respectively.
Student work placements
Imogen Wright spent a full month in a paid role at Glastonbury, working in the Pyramid Stage production office.
Additionally, 16 students from BIMM Brighton worked at the Pyramid Stage, helping with the smooth running of operations and gaining invaluable experience for their careers. The opportunity came about following a masterclass session in the autumn with the Head of Production at Glastonbury, Emma Reynolds Taylor, which led to BIMM being invited to support the teams working in the POIH area (Pyramid, Other, Interstage Hospitality).
Glastonbury is a cultural phenomenon that attracts some of the biggest artists and organisations in the world. We’re always so proud to see those associated with BIMM do such incredible things at such an important festival!
