BIMM launches brand new Creative Futures Bursary

We’re very excited to offer our new Creative Futures Bursary, helping those from lower-income backgrounds to pursue full or part-time Master’s degree studies at BIMM University.

If your application is successful, you will receive £1,000 to support your transition into postgraduate study, buy equipment, and cover the cost of living—all prospective UK-based students can apply, subject to qualification.

“Postgraduate study in creative arts is a topic that is very important to me personally as well as within my role as Provost – we see many talented individuals succeed with the undergraduate study but are unable to progress onto Master’s courses due to financial pressures. This is just one of the many barriers to access that we see play out across the sector.

To help with this, I’m delighted that BIMM University is launching a new Creative Futures bursary for postgraduate students. This contribution, I hope, will support talented students who may have thought that postgraduate study was not an option for them. I know our exceptional postgraduate team will help all students make the most of our wonderful postgraduate provision.”

If you would like to apply, you must fulfil the following criteria:

• Resident in the UK and eligible to pay Home fee rate
• Have an annual household income of £25,000 or less
• Have applied and accepted an offer to study a full-time or part-time postgraduate degree in 2023/24
