Given the current uncertainty created by COVID-19, as Head of Institution, I thought it would be helpful to send a message to all existing students at BIMM Institute Dublin as well as applicants for the next academic year. For our part, we will keep applicants fully informed in terms of the steps BIMM is taking to ensure the admissions process is as smooth and efficient as possible.
Existing and New Applicants
While we are all awaiting further clarity around what restrictions may still be in place by the Autumn, we are fully committed to delivering the high-quality student experience that BIMM Institute Dublin is known for and we are very much looking forward to welcoming our new students into our exciting BIMM Dublin community.
Our approach to learning and teaching will be informed by the latest government guidance as we move through the summer months, however, in anticipation of continued social distancing being in place, we are preparing for the possibility of delivering some of our teaching remotely in Term 1 up to Christmas to ensure all students are able to engage effectively with their chosen course and experience the highest quality specialist music teaching.
Alongside our long-established programme of new student activities, we are developing an enhanced induction programme which will begin over the summer months and extend into Term 1 providing early access to teaching staff, networking opportunities with other students both new and existing, and details of our exciting schedule of masterclasses and events.
As always, we are here to help answer any questions you have or tell you more about what life at BIMM Dublin is like. If you’d like to get in touch with us contact our Admissions Team as normal. Call them on 00353 1 5133666, email [email protected] or talk to us on Live Chat.
Applicants can now request a personal call back directly from our Admissions Team by texting or using WhatsApp at 00353 83 0148736, 0035383 0148725 or 00353 83 0148663.
Entrance Auditions & Interviews
For our music performance courses, where an audition is required, we have established remote assessments and the online submission of auditions to make it as straightforward as possible for an applicant.
Our Admissions Team is contacting all those with upcoming bookings to provide detailed information on this arrangement as well as an update on how their application will be processed moving forward.
If you would like more information about your upcoming remote audition, please contact our Admissions Team via email [email protected] or by phone on 00353 1 5133666 or Live Chat on our website.
