5 Staples of the Brighton Music Scene

3 May, 2019

Our STAPLES video series is here to show you exactly what to expect from the local music scene in each of our locations.

So far, we’ve had Heavy Lungs frontman Danny Nedelko show us round Bristol, music journalist and Brum Radio presenter Danny de Reybekill take us on a tour around Birmingham and House/Techno producer Marlon Hoffstadt let us in on the Berlin music scene.

Now, it’s Brighton’s turn. And who better to show us five STAPLES of the Brighton music scene than Roxy Roberts?

Roxy took some time out from running Hear No Evil Management, hosting her radio show on Trickstar Radio and getting involved with Brighton Sound Social to take us around her five Staples.

This city by the sea is bursting with every genre of music you could imagine. And it’s home to festivals like The Great Escape and Brighton Pride, too.

As said by Roxy herself, Brighton is one of the most liberal, accepting, versatile and dynamic places around – and it could be the perfect place for you to start your music industry career.
