Roman Strack
Sound Design Lecturer
Roman teaches Music Production at BIMM Music Institute Berlin. He is a Sound Designer and Rerecording Mixer based in Berlin. Starting out as a musician and guitarist, Roman always had great curiosity for the technical and production aspects of recorded music.
Having mixed hundreds of concerts and performances and recorded a vast spectrum of styles in music studios, Roman then discovered the world of film sound. After finishing his Tonmeister studies at Filmuniversity Babelberg, he worked as an ADR Mixer in the field of foreign language dubbing.
Currently, Roman is working as a freelance Sound Designer for film, TV, theatre and radio in Berlin. He recently specialised in the emerging field of audio for VR and 360° video.
