Nicky Williams
Careers & Industry Manager
Nicky is the Careers Manager at BIMM Brighton and is dedicated to helping students get ready for work by helping prepare business-based CVs and cover Letters. Nicky also arranges internships, volunteering opportunities and work experience.
Nicky’s professional highlights include being a panellist for The Great Escape’s Education Conference and DIY Magazine’s Education Tour event. She currently sits as a Board member for Create Music Hub, supporting the aims of Music Education for young people in East Sussex.
Performance experience includes compering and hosting to an audience of up to 10,000 people at the Brighton Centre and backing vocals for a sold-out show at the Royal Albert Hall with Canadian metal act The Devin Townsend Project. She started in the world of music journalism, writing reviews for Rocksound online, working at Total Rock Radio and had a brief stint at Kerrang! magazine. She also fronted all-girl metal band Vier.
