Nick Feldman

Lecturer, Music Production

Nick Feldman has over 25 years of live electronic music production and performance experience. He’s turned his hand to almost everything that excites him – from energetic dance music including techno, drum & bass, electro and grime through to hip-hop, electronica and experimental strains. Nick has played at clubs and festivals around the world including Glastonbury, Fusion and Boomtown Fair. Recent acclaim has come for production work on Welsh-language project Chwalaw that garnered radio play on BBC 3 and 6 Music. 

Nick has been teaching, leading and developing courses music production, sound design, event production and music/video performance professionally since 2012. Previous to this he worked as an event technician, project manager, VJ and graphic designer. He also manages the London Ableton User Group and Crux – audio-visual live performance events and electronic music jam sessions.  

He is currently writing a book about creative music production for Routledge, researching immersive audio production as part of an Arts Council funded project and is in the pre-production stages for an expanded festival edition of his Crux events at the Rich Mix venue in spring 2024.
