Head of Student Services - BIMM Birmingham
Mark is the Head of Student Services at BIMM Institute Birmingham and manages a team of Student Support Officers to provide the best possible advice, guidance and support to students. This includes many aspects of student welfare such as financial help, additional learning support, social and pastoral care, enrichment activities, safeguarding, counselling and learner voice.
An experienced strategic and operational manager, Mark is skilled in many aspects of student services support, advice & guidance services, finance and marketing. He's also worked at senior and middle management levels in Further and Higher education for the past 20 years.
Mark has previously worked nationally as a member of the Executive Board for the National Association for Managers in Student Services (NAMSS). He is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Has previously served in the Royal Navy working at a number of UK bases and overseas.
