Jay Oglesby
Drum Tutor / Acting Course Leader
Jay teaches Drums at BIMM Music Institute Dublin. He began playing drums with the Artane Boys’ Band, where he also featured as a xylophone soloist. He then went on to study drums and percussion at the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
Jay is also a founding member of Irish electronic band Liquid Wheel. As a professional drummer, he’s performed and recorded with a variety of artists, such as Laura Izibor, Sharon Corr, Andrew Strong, Rob Strong, Luan Parle, Keywest and Don Baker. He’s written and recorded with new artist Sharon Condon, and continues to be an in-demand session drummer.
