Elliot Henshaw

Elliott teaches Drums at BIMM Music Institute London and has been an in-demand drummer for many years now, working with artists and bands that include Shirley Bassey, John Lord and Roger Glover (Deep Purple), Paul Anka, Michael Ball, Leo Sayer, Limahl, the BBC Big Band, the Syd Lawrence Orchestra and Gabriella Cilmi.

He has many West End credits to his name, including The Lion King, The Rat Pack and Jersey Boys. He also runs The Elliot Henshaw Band who have headlined at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club on more than one occasion and have released the album ‘Is That Not What You Wanted?’.

In 2012, having conceived the idea of producing a 25th Anniversary Buddy Rich Memorial concert, Elliot became Creative Director of the production, staged at the London Palladium and hosted by Buddy’s daughter Cathy Rich. He’s performed alongside many leading names in the international drumming community and uses, among other equipment, Echo Custom drums, Zildjian cymbals and the BC2 by Porter and Davies.
