Andy Sutor

Andy is a Senior Lecturer at BIMM Music Institute Bristol, specialising in drums and live performance. With nearly twenty years of professional experience, he has played thousands of shows and toured extensively across the UK, Europe, the USA, and Canada. His live credits include performances with John Parish (PJ Harvey), Anika, Charlotte Hatherley (Ash), Marc Ford (The Black Crowes), Elles Bailey, Kevin Montgomery, and Lisa Mills.
As a recording session drummer, Andy has worked with acclaimed composers, producers, and engineers such as Geoff Barrow, Adrian Utley, Stew Jackson, Neil Davidge, TJ Allen, and Peter Miles, contributing to a wide range of singles, albums, and television soundtracks.
Andy’s own creative projects include Emily Breeze and PEACH, alongside playing keys and synths with experimental improv group Fool’s Spring, and developing material for his debut solo album. Beyond performance, Andy is an experienced and passionate educator, dedicated to supporting and inspiring the next generation of musicians.
