BIMM students gain valuable experience at Victorious Festival 2024
This year our students once again played a vital role in running The People’s Lounge stage and the World Music Stage in the World Music Village area of Victorious Festival.
The area, curated by the global charity Arms Around the Child, was run by students from BIMM Music Institute Bristol, Brighton, London and Dublin. Seven students were working as sound engineers, two students as artist liaisons and two students working in marketing.
Asides from picking up valuable experiences behind the scenes, the two stages also saw performances from 20 acts, including all of the following:
Grooveline, Emma Sleater, Faraii, Stella Francis, IMMY, DJ Betzy Nina, GUY, THEA, Avije, Siobhan and Zion, ASMARA, ZENA, Amalia, Ophelia, Isabel Abbott, Eldwin Barnard, Henry Stock, Linos Wengara and Zimbaremabwe Mbira Vibes, Scarlet Loren and Annabel Lauren.
The student artists received great feedback on their performances throughout the weekend, and each stage would not have run as successfully as it did without the hard work of all our students working behind the scenes.
