BIMM London student Ryder releases EP with UK legend, Skepta
We’re very pleased that BIMM Institute London Music and Sound Production student Ryder has recently collaborated with Skepta and Dré Six for an EP titled 48 Hours.
Ryder, who was awarded our Spotify Scholarship back in 2022, has recently teamed up with UK grime and house legend, Skepta, after he caught Skepta’s attention with his experimental production style.
Ryder had been posting edits and refixes on SoundCloud, starting with P Money, SZA, cityboymoe and Nemzzz, but it was his work on #skeptacore that really struck a chord. His #skeptacore series gained a lot of attention which led to Skepta adding some co-production to Ryder’s ‘skeptacore pt.3’, which used Skepta’s vocals from ‘Text Me Back’, to help give it a legitimate release.
The EP coined its name after it was created in the studio by the three within 48 hours. The lead single, ‘All Alone’, comes with a Skepta-directed music video, with the track including vocals and guitar from Dré Six.
We’re so excited to see what Ryder gets up to next.
