Marco Migliari

Senior Lecturer, Music Production *

Marco teaches Music Production at BIMM Music Institute Manchester. He worked for 12 years at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios as a studio engineer and technical manager. In 2008, he chose a freelance career and set up Green Room Studio within the Real World complex, where he currently works as a producer, mixer, engineers and mastering engineer.

Marco's most recent engineering credits include: Aretha Franklin (Sony Music US), Buddy Holly (Universal Music US), Roy Orbison (Sony Music US), Pavarotti (Universal Music UK), The Beach Boys (Universal Music US). He also worked with the Beautiful South, Black Grape, The Cooper Temple Clause, Crowded House, Deep Purple, Elbow, Goldfrapp, Genesis, Gomez, James, Massive Attack, Loreena McKennit, New Order, Midge Ure, Robert Plant, Sigur Ros, Stereophonics, Van Morrison and many more. In 2013, he engineered the soundtrack for XBox blockbuster 'Halo 4' with producer Neil Davidge.

Marco is also a technical consultant and works for a number of prominent producers and studios in the UK and Europe, and collaborated with BIMM to build the recording facilities both at BIMM Bristol and BIMM Manchester.
