Lee is lead guitarist in punk rock band IDLES. Since forming, IDLES have recorded and released two critically acclaimed albums, with the second reaching No.2 in The Official UK Albums Chart.
They’ve been nominated for a BRIT Award, Mercury Prize and won the 2019 Kerrang! Award for Best British Breakthrough Act. Lee is a lecturer on Performance in Context where he helps our students gain experience and knowledge as part of their performance studies.
Lee also guests in any modules where his impressive performance background can enhance students’ performances and careers. He has a First Class BA (Hons) degree in Media and Journalism and runs a filmmaking evening class in the college to help students expand their skills.
