Gerard Langley
Principal Lecturer, Songwriting
Gerard is the Head of Songwriting at BIMM Music Institute Bristol, where he lectures in Songwriting Techniques. He also lead the Bristol-based band The Blue Aeroplanes, who have recorded albums for major and independent labels since 1984 and toured extensively in Europe and America.
He's also involved with the Bristol venue The Fleece, and has worked as a music journalist, writing and reviewing for a variety of publications.
Gerard's other interests include music, literature, politics, cooking and photography.
