Dan Tsu

Lecturer, Event Management *

Dan Tsu teaches Event Management at BIMM Music Institute London. He is an event producer, live promoter, and international facilitator. Co-founder of infamous Glastonbury Festival venue Rum Shack, he has hosted innovative and independent live shows for 15 years. Dan holds a reputation for championing and collaborating with young talent, working closely with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Akala, and Kate Tempest. 

He has taught event management in Russia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Ukraine with British Council; social activism in Ethiopia and Sudan; played DJ sets in India, Mexico, and Switzerland; co-produces UK and Mexico Beatbox Championships; and has hosted stages from Southbank Centre to Lovebox. 

Dan is the founder and director of live events and education company Lyrix Organix; a design consultant for groundbreaking programmes to major youth organisations and charities. Using rap, poetry, music, and cross-disciplinary approaches to amplify social action.
