After graduating from BIMM Institute London in 2018 with a degree in Music Production, Evie continued her journey to become an accomplished audio engineer. Having gained experience in a few different studios, Evie has honed her skills and become one to watch in the industry.
Evie kicked off her career at Premises Studios in East London. She quickly progressed within the company, growing from rehearsals assistant to studio manager and in-house engineer. Over that time, she engineered, mixed and assisted an extensive array of established clients, including Emeli Sandé, Years & Years, Spotify, L Devine, The BBC, Cassie Kinoshi, Midori, The Puppini Sisters and many more.
Now at Miloco Studios, which opened its doors in 1984 and has over 170 studios worldwide, Evie has had the opportunity to work across multiple studios and with clients spanning a wide variety of genres has been great for her career. Recent clients include Glass Animals, Rina Sawayama, Rude Kid, Lola Young, Georgia Twinn, Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes, Ghost-Note, Louis Dunford, Skrillex and Sam Tompkins.
Here’s what Evie had to say about her time at BIMM Institute:
“I am very grateful for my time at BIMM Institute because it gave me the foundation I needed to launch my career in audio. The teachers were great, and I met some of my best friends there.”
