BIMM Music Institute Enrolment
Why do you need to enrol?
Registration and Enrolment is the process of becoming a student at BIMM University. It is compulsory for you to enrol with us at the beginning of your studies and re-enrol at the beginning of each following academic year of your course.
You must hold an unconditional offer which you have firmly accepted to be invited to enrol once enrolment opens in mid-July.
The first step is completing the online registration form where you will be asked to confirm, provide or update the information we hold on you. We only collect and store information that is required to support you as a student or we are required to provide through regulatory returns.
Read our Student Registration and Enrolment policy (PDF) for more information.

When can you expect to receive the registration link?
You will be invited to register towards the end of August providing you have an unconditional offer which you have accepted and you have received confirmation of a successful student visa application. You will need to have entered the UK and collected the BRP document before you can complete registration.
When to travel
We recommend you are in the UK no later than 2 weeks prior to the course starting. This ensures you can attend the Induction and Freshers events and complete any outstanding enrolment requirements, preventing any delays to you being able to start the course.
In most cases, your visa will allow you to travel to the UK up to one month before the course starts. Please do not travel to the campus location until you receive the outcome on your visa application.
If you have any queries, please contact [email protected]
Student ID card
All students and staff must wear an ID card when on Campus.
You can collect your Student ID card at Welcome Week providing you have completed the registration form and completed all required enrolment tasks.
Timetable
Your timetable will be available to view the week prior to the semester starting. If you have not been able to access it by the Friday before Semester starts, please contact your Course Leader or Student Wellbeing lead.
To access your timetable you will need to set up your BIMM University student account and log in. This information is sent at the end of August with our digital Welcome Week, providing you have completed the registration form. The digital Welcome Week will show you exactly how to access your timetable as well as other essential student systems you’ll be using.

Enrolment is open, but I haven't received an email yet
The most likely reason is because you have not completed everything required with your application. If, however, you are holding an Unconditional offer, which you have firmly accepted please contact the Enrolment Support Team so we can look into this further for you.
Before contacting us, please check your junk folder as your registration invitation may have gone there.

Changing name and/or gender
The registration form must show your legal name. If this is incorrect, please send the Enrolment Support Team a copy of your updated photo ID or deed poll and we can change this for you.
If you are not known by your legal name and are yet to legally change it, please add a preferred name to the registration form. You can also add your pronouns when registering.
If you provide a preferred name, this will be the name on your student ID card and class registers.
