Introducing the BIMM Blog
Looking for industry insights and exclusive interviews with prolific musicians? Look no further than the sleek new BIMM blog, a new informative hub that’s written by students, lecturers and leading experts for music fans everywhere.
You’ll find everything on the BIMM blog, from college news and advice clinics to BIMM city guides, including Brighton, Bristol, London, Manchester, Dublin, Berlin, Birmingham and most recently, Hamburg.
Lucy Evers, who forms part of BIMM’s social media team, has been instrumental in launching the new BIMM hub and has worked tirelessly to curate it.
“The blog is an informal place to find out things that concern not just your college but your city. Places to go, venues, restaurants, shops. It discusses all things student,” she explained.
Since its official launch in November 2016, the BIMM Blog has featured leading interviews from a host of big-name artists, rising stars and students, including BIMM Dublin’s Mimi Lane, Ralph Rolle (Nile Rodgers, Aretha Franklin, Sting) and 2016 BRITs’ Critics Choice winner Jack Garratt.
Lucy has also encouraged both students, past and present, and lecturers to send in new ideas for articles and features.
She added:
“Anyone can get involved with the blog. If there is a subject matter you feel needs discussing or you see a post you feel would be good in your city drop us a message.”
