DIY bring Industry panels & gigs to BIMM Cities

26 October, 2018

Earlier this year, DIY released Do It Yourself, a special one-off supplement aimed at those looking to break into the music industry. The physical publication features tips from key members of the music community who’ve already made sizable waves of their own. Featuring interviews with BIMM graduates Black Honey and IDLES, plus label reps, promoters and journalists, Do It Yourself served as an up-to-the-minute guide for all walks of the industry.

This November, DIY are continuing their campaign to enlighten the music-loving public with the Do It Yourself Neu Tour, which hits Birmingham, Brighton and Leeds for three days of panels and gigs, bringing you real world advice and some exciting new bands, including BIMM Brighton graduates Penelope Isles.

From 2pm in each city, DIY will host a series of panels, featuring key industry insiders and artists, all offering their advice and experiences to help you get the strongest possible start with your career in music.

Once the sun has set and you’ve taken-on as much invaluable expert opinion as you can handle, it’s time for the evenings festivities with a live show featuring three top bands from the city, including the likes of Youth Man, Porridge Radio, Table Scraps, and Caro, plus special guests to be announced.

And the best news? For just £5 you can gain access to both the panel and the gig for each of these events. So, what are you waiting for? Bag your ticket now by clicking the link in your chosen city, now. Or go to all three!
