BIMM London graduate Hana Lili supports Coldplay

22 November, 2023

We couldn’t be more proud of BIMM Music Institute London graduate Hana Lili, who supported Coldplay during their ‘Music of the Spheres’ World Tour. Hana opened for their two Cardiff dates at the Principality Stadium.

Hana, originally from the seaside town of Sully in South West Wales, has been making her brand of 90s indie and grunge-influenced alt-pop since 2021. Since then, she’s released two EPs, and she is working towards an album.

Having received support from Radio 1, played two stadium shows as a guest to Coldplay and another high-profile support slot for Tom Grennan, as well as press support from The Guardian, Notion, Dummy, i-D, Clash, Dork and The Line of Best Fit, we think Hana is set for stardom.

Hana commented on the Coldplay announcement:

“It is awesome, it is really, really exciting. One thing I love about Coldplay is that they’ve placed so many support acts on their tour from the countries that they have been visiting. I think that is a super cool thing. I’m really excited to support them.

It is an exciting opportunity to be on the stage. I feel a lot more comfortable on stage than I do anywhere else. I just escape into that space of being with a band on stage, performing songs and having fun with it.”

Hana’s recently been announced for Brighton’s famous The Great Escape multi-venue festival. We recommend checking her out if you can.
