BIMM London Album 2016 OUT NOW

3 June, 2016

We’re very pleased to announce the official release of our eagerly awaited BIMM London Album 2016, which is out now!

The album is available now to download from Soundcloud.

It features eleven original tracks, whittled down from a huge influx of demos from our talented BIMM London students. Our lecturers really had their work cut out for them, with so many impressive entries – we were truly blown away by 2016’s selection. After choosing the final shortlist, we sent our selection to some of the industry’s most prolific music industry professionals, including managers, label bosses and music writers.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Dan Brown (Raw Power Management), Jamie Osman (Redlight Management), Sam Lee (Editor, Deezer), Mark Levin (Senior Sync Manager, BMG), Rob Damiani (Vocalist, Don Broco) and Tony Wadsworth (ex CEO of EMI UK) for their work in choosing the final eleven tracks.

The BIMM London album represents the culmination of a lot of hard work by our students and Music Production team. It was recorded at our BIMM London Studios, with the exception of Becky Arundel’s track ‘Broke Me’, which was recorded at the incredible Konk Studios. The quality of the album is in no small part due to Ciaran Robinson and Tom Davidson’s brilliant production skills.

We’re extremely pleased with the final outcome, the record really reflects the wealth of talent, diversity and aptitude of our BIMM London students. As if to prove this point, Storme (who feature on the album) played an electrifying set at the album launch party at The Notting Hill Arts Club in London on 31 May.

Thank you to everyone who submitted a track. The quality of your demos meant that this year’s decision was incredibly tough to make. And of course congratulations to all of our students who made the final cut. You can find the whole album available to stream below!
