Kojo Osei
Deputy Course Leader
Kojo is a Mancunian born, London bred DJ, dance music producer & artist manager who has worked alongside many highly-regarded artists, such as Goldie, Noisia, Pendulum, Andy C and Chase & Status.
He is most notably known for being one half of underground Drum & Bass production duo Dawn Raid, and has released music alongside some of the most revered artists in the genre, most notably on legendary DJ Randall's imprints, MAC II and Stepback Sessions.
Over the years, Kojo's prowess as a producer and skills as a DJ have seen him perform at many high profile events across the country, taking in shows at Glastonbury (Glade), Warehouse Project (Metropolis), Parklife, Manchester Academy (Relapse), Granada Studios (Redbull Music Culture Clash), where his sets have been very well-received, generating crowd frenzy by way of the sheer pace & energy created through Dawn Raid's DJ sets.
Alongside his music career, Kojo also runs a fledgling music management company called Pyro Music Management, where he utilises his skills and experience in the music industry to serve as an active A&R in underground music circles. Kojo has also worked in music education as a FE & HE practitioner for the past 15 years. As a result has a wealth of knowledge in the sector to back-up his career in music thus far.
