Jack Keegan

Lecturer, FE Guitar *

Jack teaches guitar performance, music theory, and composition at BIMM Music Institute Manchester. Jack has been a professional musician for over a decade, undertaking a variety of roles including performer, songwriter, and educator.

Since graduating in 2015, Jack has written and gigged extensively with a variety of eclectic acts ranging in style from folk to punk, touring the country and playing at numerous festivals in the process. Jack has also found employment as a director of York-based CIC Tang Hall SMART facilitating music-making opportunities for marginalised groups, as well as continuing to further himself academically by successfully completing an MA in Jazz and Improvised Music at the University of York and a PGCE in Secondary Music at Manchester Metropolitan University.
