Iain Mackenzie

Senior Vocal Lecturer

Iain teaches Vocals at BIMM Music Institute London. He is a singer, pianist, and currently the principal male vocalist for the Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra and section leader for the Ronnie Scott’s Singers, The iTones. Iain has worked with artists as varied as Sandie Shaw, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Mica Paris, and legendary jazz musicians Abdullah Ibrahim and Kenny Wheeler.

His original material is featured on over 50 chill-out and lounge compilations, and he’s released his own jazz album ’Twice On Sunday’ on Jazzizit Records. Iain is also a busy session singer and recently completed a UK tour singing for Brendon Cole’s Live and Unjudged show (Strictly Come Dancing).
