Dave Magee

Dave is part of the Careers & Industry team at BIMM Music Institute Dublin. He's from Belfast and started his career as a guitarist/songwriter at the age of 16 in the band f.u.e.l., gigging and touring around Ireland with the likes of Ash, Turn and Snow Patrol.
He has spent the last 15 years touring Europe, the UK and U.S. with NI bands Little Matador and LaFaro, sharing bills with bands such as Nine Inch Nails, QOTSA, Foals, ASIWYFA and Helmet, collecting countless tour stories along the way. He released well received albums with these bands, garnering an NI Music Prize nomination for Little Matador's debut in 2014.
Dave has most recently been working on various collaborative projects, focussing on writing, remixing and recording with other artists such as Arvo Party and Nathan Connolly of Snow Patrol.
