Antonio currently plays bass in British Rock band Tax The Heat, who signed to Nuclear Blast Records in 2015. With them, he has toured the UK and Europe extensively, playing prestigious venues such as the Hammersmith Apollo, Birmingham Arena and l’Olympia in Paris, as well as renowned festivals such as Download Festival, Calling Festival, Truck Festival and Ramblin Man Fair.
Antonio co-wrote both Tax The Heat’s debut album and the critically acclaimed follow-up, 'Change Your Position’, a top 10 Rock album in the UK Charts. Singles from both records have gained regular radio play from Kerrang!, Planet Rock and BBC Radio 2, leading to invitations to play shows with Aerosmith, Europe, Reef, Ash, Vintage Trouble and Mott The Hoople, as well as TV appearances on The Friday Night Rock Show.
Antonio has also recorded at some of the most iconic studios in the UK, working with producers whose credits include Queens of The Stone Age, Royal Blood, Band of Skulls, Supergrass, Robert Plant and The Pixies.
Outside of Tax The Heat, Antonio maintains a healthy session portfolio both in the studio and live, working with various artists, laying down bass parts for the likes of Adam Zindani of Stereophonics and playing festival headline slots with established pop acts.
He also writes a regular live performance column for Bass Player Magazine and represents Cleartone Strings and SolidGoldFX as an endorsed artist.
