At BIMM Music Institute, our Undergraduate academic course entry requirements are a minimum of 80 UCAS points. If your country’s qualifications differ or are not listed, please contact us for further information.
We accept other qualifications such as RSL Awards VQ, RSL Graded Examinations, BTEC, International Baccalaureate Diplomas and Certificates and European Baccalaureate, which are equivalent to UCAS tariff points. You can use the UCAS tariff Calculator or check the international requirements by country listed in the table below for equivalencies.
For Postgraduate courses, we usually require a bachelor’s degree with a 2:2 or equivalent grade shown in the table below.
Applicants may be required to complete an audition or portfolio review/ demo submission as well as meet the academic and English language requirements.. Once you have submitted an application , our Admissions team will be in contact if any further information is required.
Please note that there may be a 2-year validity period for external English tests and English studied on certain qualifications.

If you are aged over 18 and do not hold any formal qualifications or do not meet the academic entry requirements, we may be able to consider previous experience for direct entry to our undergraduate degrees through our Recognition of Prior Practice (RPP) route.
