What to Look for in an Education Agent
When choosing an agent to help you in your application journey, we strongly recommend you use the student and parent guide to choosing an education agent.
It sets out what to look for in an agent, the right questions to ask, and how to spot and avoid poor practice. It also signposts the national code of ethical practice for UK education agents and the British Council’s database of certified counsellors.
Personalised Guidance for Your Application Journey
Any representatives we work with have been carefully selected. They are provided with detailed information about our courses, entry requirements, and life at BIMM, so they can give you informed, reliable guidance every step of the way.
Important things to be aware of:
- BIMM University pays commission to agents when a student enrols after using their services, and this does not affect your chances of being accepted onto a course.
- Some agents may charge a counselling fee, so we strongly recommend clarifying all costs upfront.
- You should also check that any agent you use is authorised to represent us.
- Please note that we do not hold contracts with sub-agents and cannot offer them the same level of support.
- You should always pay any deposit or tuition fees directly to BIMM University, never to or via an agent.
We hold our agents to the highest standards, and we want to hear from you if your experience doesn’t reflect that.
