Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at BIMM

As a community of creative professionals, the BIMM Group embraces cultural differences and our values centre around collaboration, equality and inclusion. BIMM recognises that long-term success is achieved by including all people – students, staff, lecturers, suppliers and other business partners – from all backgrounds and sectors of society and ensuring they are part of the BIMM Community, valued for their contribution and able to flourish and succeed.

The BIMM Group actively stands against racial discrimination and any other forms of prejudice or injustice which may be experienced by a minority group.

As part of our ongoing commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive environment for our students and people, we are establishing a Group-wide Equality, Diversity & Inclusive Committee which will lead on our priority workstreams including; recruitment of a diverse workforce, training and mentoring support, tracking and reporting, and communicating the impact of our work at every level of the organisation.

Alongside the ED&I Committee, we will support the formation of Local Forum Groups who will lead on the creation of localised initiatives, support college-based students and staff to make positive changes and consult on Group Wide initiatives with the ED&I Committee.

We will continue to provide regular updates on the progress we make to continue to build a diverse and inclusive community.
