BIMM Brighton graduates Lime Garden (fka LIME) are one of the most promising talents the alternative music scene has to offer. Describing themselves as ‘wonk pop’, the four-piece band is known for their experimental, genre-busting sound, as well as their emotional honesty.
Lime Garden’s debut singles, ‘Surf N Turf’ and ‘Fever’, illustrate their wide range of different musical influences, from indie psych to disco. On the other hand, ‘Sick & Tired’ is more melancholic, with a dry wit that highlights the absurdity of modern life.
In 2022, the band was named as one of NME’s top 100 artists, and they’ve since gone from strength to strength. In addition to selling out a headline tour, they’ve played at renowned UK festivals such as Truck, Glastonbury, Green Man, The Great Escape, and Tramlines.
Signed to So Young’s record label, they released their debut album One More Thing in 2024, to much critical acclaim. The record has been compared to icons such as The Strokes, Charli XCX, and Bloc Party, highlighting its strength and musical versatility.
