BIMM Institute Brighton graduates FUR, have made a name for themselves as one of the most promising bands in the UK. They’re known for encapsulating the sound of the 60s but with luscious modernity.
The band’s 2017 single, ‘If You Know That I’m Lonely’ racked up an astonishing 20 million plays in just two years, cementing their position as an exciting emerging talent. In September of 2018 the band signed to Nice Swan records (Sports Team, Pip Blom). And began recording their self-titled debut EP with Andy Savours (The Magic Gang, Sorry, My Bloody Valentine).
Their debut self-titled EP was released midway through their 2019 UK tour, and received their first Radio 1 play courtesy of Huw Stephens and subsequent support from Steve Lamacq as well as 3 weeks on the Radio 6 playlist.
The band has definitely set themselves up for a career in music.
