The band stepped into Steve Lamacq's shoes to present his 6 Music Recommends show on BBC Radio 6 and garnered favour from numerous other industry tastemakers and press outlets such as DIY Magazine, Dork and So Young Magazine - they were even included in the latter's Top Ten Tracks of 2018 with their single ' Too Real'.
On the road, the band recently supported Shame on their UK and Irish tour as well as taking on the U.S with Bristol quintet IDLES in Spring of 2019 before performing at SXSW in Austin, Texas and performing a series of blisteringly good sets at Glastonbury Festival.
The band's debut LP 'Dogrel' was released to critical acclaim in April of 2019, reaching #4 in the Irish album chart and #9 in the UK. The record received a nomination for the highly coveted Mercury Music prize and triumphed later that year when it was selected as Album Of The Year by both Rough Trade and BBC6 Music.
After being nominated for NME's 'Best New Act in the World', they released their second studio album, A Hero's Death, via Partisan Records. It entered the UK and Irish album charts at #2. Pitchfork described the album as "heady, funny and fearless" and scored it a very respectful 8.1/10. It was has since been nominated for a Best Rock Album, Grammy in America, perhaps the biggest accolade a band could ever receive.
